Center for Sustainable Journalism NewsMatch 2022

The Center for Sustainable Journalism aims to produce distinctive, investigative, fair and balanced journalism that increases civic engagement, holds public officials accountable and strengthens our democratic institutions.

The Center for Sustainable Journalism publishes four distinct digital news publication including Youth Today, the Juvenile Justice Information Exchange, Fresh Take Georgia and Bokeh Focus.

For the last six years, the Center for Sustainable Journalism has participated in NewsMatch, the annual fundraising campaign for nonprofit newsrooms where every gift made between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31 is matched.

Over the years, these funds have helped the Center launch new initiatives such as the Youth Today podcast, Disabled Youth Today, Nonprofit Toolbox and Fresh Take Georgia, and while doing so, create experiential learning opportunities including paid student assistantships, internships and fellowships for journalism, communications, marketing and business students. Last year, supporters like you helped us raise more than $52.5K in individual donations and matches.
