What is KSU Crowdfunding?
KSU Crowdfunding is Kennesaw State University’s crowdfunding platform for community fundraising. Crowdfunding offers our donors a way to provide support directly to the schools, programs and specific projects at the university that are most meaningful to them. Students, faculty, and staff may submit projects to be considered for KSU Crowdfunding.
How can I apply to host a project?
Any Kennesaw State University faculty member, staff member or student may apply! Crowdfunding works best for projects and campaigns with clear and specific goals, rather than for general, unrestricted fundraising. If you are interested in launching your own crowdfund, please contact Savannah Lockman, Director of Annual Giving at slockma1@kennesaw.edu.
Is my contribution tax-deductible?
The Kennesaw State University Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3). Your gift will be tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the law.
Will I receive a receipt for my contribution?
Yes! The Kennesaw State University Foundation will send you a receipt for your contribution.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments will be processed through our secure giving website facilitated by the Kennesaw State University Foundation.
When will my card be charged?
Credit card gifts are processed immediately upon finalizing your gift on the site.
How can I have my gift matched by mine or my spouse's employer?
Thousands of companies match gifts to higher education, which can double or triple your gift. To find out if your employer (or your spouse's employer) has a matching gift program, please visit giving.kennesaw.edu/matchinggifts. If so, please contact your Human Resources representative for a matching gift form.
