Help us commemorate KSU Black Alumni Society's 25th Anniversary!

In honor of the 25th Anniversary of KSU's first affinity group, the KSU Black Alumni Society is proud to establish the KSU Black Alumni Society General Scholarship. More than 25 years ago, Dr. Shelby R. Wilkes founded the society to celebrate the achievements of KSU’s Black students and alumni while building a strong, supportive network dedicated to student success. He and his wife, Dr. Jettie Burnett, also established the Wilkes/Burnett Black Alumni Society Scholarship to financially assist KSU students interested in entering the healthcare field.

This new scholarship continues the vision by expanding opportunities for future generations of Owls, ensuring that more students have the resources they need to thrive at KSU. Join us in reaching our goal of $25,000 to endow this scholarship and create a lasting impact!
